With Potluck Dinner on the Grounds. Please bring food to share that may be served cold.

Please join us for the annual Pioneer Valley All Day Singing! We are excited to be holding the singing at a new location, the Guiding Star Grange in Greenfield, Massachusetts. All are welcome, regardless of experience. We will sing from The Sacred Harp, 2025 Edition. Books will be available for sale or loan.

Location:

Guiding Star Grange, 401 Chapman Street, Greenfield, MA 01301

Public health protocols:

  • Masks are optional.
  • Covid testing is not required but we kindly request that you stay home if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms.

Kitchen: We do not have access to kitchen facilities apart from refrigeration, so please bring food that is well-wrapped and ready to serve.

Childcare: Childcare will be available in a designated area of the building.

Parking: The Grange has a large parking lot, and there is ample street parking as well. There are 2 marked handicapped parking spaces on the side of the building close to the ramp, and we will reserve additional parking spaces close to the building for people with accessibility issues.

Accessibility: We will be using the entrance in the back of the building where the parking lot is located. There are 2 steps, as well as a ramp, to the entrance of the building. There are no push buttons for access. Once inside the building, there are 8 steps up to the event hall. The dining area is in the basement. There is a lift that accommodates one person in a wheelchair to go upstairs to the hall or downstairs to the dining room. A single-occupancy handicapped bathroom is located upstairs adjacent to where the singing takes place. All doorways are 33” wide or greater.

Additional singings nearby in:

  • Deerfield (Sunday 3:00–5pm, Historic Deerfield)
  • Greenfield (Monday evening, from Harp of Ages songbook)
  • Northampton (Tuesday 7–9pm, Helen Hills Hills Chapel)
